for those who enjoy, or want to become familiar with high-end Italian wines.

Come tour five beautifully restored early 1900s residences in historic Munger Place (just a few blocks south of Jimmy’s at Bryan and Fitzhugh). While you’re there, you’ll taste these extraordinary wines complemented by hors d’oeuvres from leading East Dallas Restaurants and Food Service providers.

Proceeds of the 2019 Munger Place Wine Walk & Historic Home Tour benefit the Munger Historic District Association, Lipscomb Elementary PTA, and the Boys and Girls Club of Dallas. Thank you for your support!

The Premium Wine Tasting combines the tour of the five exceptional homes with a relaxed, convivial tasting of ten of the favorite top-end wines hand-selected by the Munger Place Wine team and Paul DiCarlo of Jimmy’s, choosing from thousands of outstanding Italian/Sicilian wines

A detailed description of all ten wines, listed in presentation order, can be printed for your use at the event and be kept for future reference.

Registration in advance of the Premium Tasting is recommended to assure that each guest will receive our gift of a Munger Place wine glass and easy-to-see credentials signifying your Premium Wine Tasting participation.

Tickets may be purchased in advance, online below or at Talulah and Hess, 5810 Live Oak, Dallas 75214. Our event will go on, rain or shine.

We look forward to another great event. We are pleased to invite you into our homes to taste some truly spectacular Italian wines. Jimmy’s Food Store has provided a wonderful selection of their most popular bottles at several price points, and the wines on offer will not disappoint even the most delicate palate.

To reflect the range of quality of wines, we are pleased to offer two wine-sampling packages. The Premium Wine Taster Package is $65.00 online purchase and $65.00 at the door. The General Wine Taster Package is $25.00 online purchase or $30.00 at the door. We have a limited number of tickets, so purchase early.

Online purchases will be listed, by name and type of Wine Taster Package chosen, at each of the 5 homes on tour. When you check in, you will receive a Home Tour program, which is your entrance to all the homes.
